A camping adventure to remember will take place at Savanna State Park. The outdoor classroom is an excellent place to learn all about the environment through experiential opportunities. Campers will spend time learning through guided instruction and exploration. Campers will hike, learn the history and geology of Savanna State Park, as well as engage in really cool kayaking and paddle boarding sessions. Campers will learn all the ropes of camping from how to set up and take down a tent, building an outdoor campfire and cooking over a campfire with camping specialists/chaperones. Most important campers will take in all the sights and sounds of the wilderness removing them from the world of electronics. This camping adventure will leave your campers with many fond memories of the great outdoors, BSWI staff and their friends. No electronics are allowed!
Criteria: Campers must be 10 and up, comfortable in the natural environment, able to spend two nights away from home and provide certain camping gear.
